Or such is the case with Cheryl Cole and her hubby, footballer Ashley Cole. According to a story by Now Magazine, Cheryl has pinpointed her husband as being absolutely tone-deaf - and, unfortunately, possessed of a voice only a banshee would love.

She went as far as to say that she would tell him to STOP singing were he to start. He’s just that bad. Ouch.

Apparently Ashley is as bad picking out clothes as he is at singing, too: according to the same story, Cheryl revealed that if he were left with supplying Cheryl with a wardrobe, he’d give her a tracksuit.

Well. What do you expect? He’s an athlete. That’s probably what he’d rather be in.

Set to be called The Secret World of Sam King, the soap will revolve around a young boy and his gradual ascension through the ranks of a music company and the music industry in general. He’ll be secretly setting up shop in a stationery cupboard and managing new bands that come his way. We are not making this up; check ITN for confirmation, if you’d like.

And, like any good show revolving around the music industry, this one will feature plenty of cameos, including Cheryl Tweedy and her pop cohorts Girls Aloud. Other actors set to appear are Amy Winehouse, Duffy and The Feeling, among others.

It began when Lily Allen made a reference to Tweedy being attractive in one of her songs. Tweedy, naturally, took it as a compliment and lauded Allen. What she didn’t know is that Allen was making a “tongue-in-cheek” joke and that she was more pointing out that she’d never want to look like Tweedy. In fact she thinks Tweedy’s an inappropriate role model.

Well, this led to that, and before long they were calling each other bitches in public, with Tweedy saying that Allen is “a chick with a dick”. Ouch. Allen responded by criticizing Tweedy’s apparent need to marry a famous footballer and throw off her clothes on stage to get attention. Double ouch.

As of yet neither girl has apologized. When will the next blow come? We’ll see.

Tweedy appeared in FHM’s April 2008 magazine, both on the cover and in a photo spread inside the magazine itself. Featured is a story about Tweedy with accompanying pictures of her with her former band mates from Girls Aloud.

Get a hold of it, if you can. The magazine has Tweedy (or should we call her Cole now?) at her finest, looking her finest. It’s a must-have for fans of the British sensation. And who knows? Maybe she’ll make a repeat performance in their pages again in the future.

Though originally to be a quiet, friends-only affair, the wedding ended up being paid for by OK! magazine. The magazine did so in exchange for the rights to shoot photos of the wedding, which resulted in several guests refusing to attend, as they didn’t want to be a part of the coverage.

Catering to hundreds of guests and wearing a £110,000 Roberto Cavalli dress, Tweedy tied the knot with Cole (who wore a suit that was almost the same colour as Tweedy’s dress) at Wrotham Park. The pair didn’t know, however, that Wrotham Park had no marriage license, and thus their marriage was not legally binding.

They were formally married at Sopwell House Hotel at St Albans, surrounded by close friends and family – just as they’d originally planned.

Every member of Girls Aloud should get the same Cheryl Tweedy tattoo – at least, that’s what Tweedy herself thinks. A set of synchronous tattoos across the five girls would suit her fine.

Tweedy sports several tattoos. A large, blue butterfly flaps happily at the small of her back, visible just above her pants when she wears midriffs.

A tribal rose pattern stretches across the front of her thigh and around to the back of her leg.

Another tribal pattern runs across one hand.

And – to demonstrate her devotion to husband Ashley Cole – Tweedy has Mrs Cole emblazoned on the nape of her neck in large, swirling handwriting.

Some people question the taste of her tattoos. They’re often considered poorly placed and of inferior ink quality. One thing’s for sure, though: bad or good, Cheryl Tweedy tattoos certainly keep her in the public eye at all times.
